ABOUT THE PROJECT

follow on social networks

On August 4th, 5th, and 6th, we continued our tour with performances at the Young Artists Festival Bayreuth—the oldest German festival for young artists, attracting youth ensembles from around the world. A crucial aspect of the project is the close collaboration between young artists and cultural managers of various nationalities.

As part of the festival, YSOU participants got a behind-the-scenes look at the legendary Bayreuther Festspielhaus and attended the final rehearsal of “The Flying Dutchman” as part of the renowned Wagner Festival Bayreuther Festspiele. The orchestra members also visited the Margavial Opera House and participated in workshops conducted by musicians from the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra, including concertmaster Juraj Čižmarovič and second violin section leader Daniel Draganov.

Thank you, Bayreuth, for the warm welcome!
